Welcome to the

San Andreas Fire Department

San Andreas FD Radio Traffic Procedures:
You first must say who you are calling then say who you are. Example, Dispatch from 2-6(Station 2's Ladder). You must refer to what truck your in and NOT your personal call sign. Refer to the truck numbering system for more info. When responding, you must say how many people are in your truck. Example, 4 people responding in an engine. Dispatch from 3-2 we're responding with 3. When arriving on scene, you must first inform dispatch you have arrived and establish [Road Name] Command. From then on relay required information to dispatch and do not hog the radio. At any given time emergency traffic could go on air about a injured or trapped firefighter. When leaving a scene you must relinquish command and return to station. When arriving on station you must also contact dispatch about that. Example, Dispatch from 3-2 returning to station and relinquishing command. Then when you arriving back on station, Dispatch from 3-2 arriving back on station and available.

At no time will 10 codes be used! Everything should be said out verbally.

When dispatched two codes may be used, code 100, bomb threat or code 500, possible DOA. Only dispatchers will say these codes.
