LEO RULES

Departments
-San Andreas State Police

-Blaine County Sheriff's Office

-Los Santos Police Department/Paleto Bay Police Department

*When there are too many Sheriffs and Police officers online certain members will be allowed to switch to San Andreas State Police.
**When the server is in the city PD members will be Los Santos PD, when the server is in Blaine County the PD members will switch to Paleto Bay PD.

Ranking system
In each department there will be:

1 Sheriff/Captain
3 Lieutenants
Any amount of Sergeants
Any amount of Patrolmen
If there are only patrolman online then the senior patrolman becomes the active Corporal. Until a supervisor comes on.

All cars (slick-tops included) can be used by any officer

Ford Explorers can be used by any officer.

Unmarked cars can only be used by senior officers and detectives.

Marked Tahoe's can only be used by Supervisors

Unmarked Tahoe's can only be used by the Sheriff or Chief

Sheriff/Captains will be voted in by the server members. The captain must have prior Zancudo Servers Law Enforcement experience.

San Andreas State Police will not have any ranking system due to the Department being a secondary job for already established Officers.

All members working as Law Enforcement must display their badge numbers in their name on these forums and the server at all times. The badge number will consist of four digits. The first number will be the district (or department you will be with). For example, Blaine County Sheriffs Office will start with 1000. Los Santos Police Department/Paleto Bay Police Department will start with 2000. The high ranking Officers badge numbers will be as follows (Blaine County) Captain- 1001, Lieutenant-1002,1003,1004,1005. Sergeants-1010,1011,etc,etc. Patrolman-1020,1021,etc, etc. The local PD's will follow the same sequence except with 2 as the first number. Your badge number will be assigned to you by the Admin staff

If there are too many officers for any given department the most senior officers (who would be chosen previously by the Admin) can switch their role play to the San Andreas State Police and their original badge number will change the first number to the number 3. (Ex: Blaine County Sheriff Officer 1020 will then change to San Andreas State Police Trooper 3020.)

Daily Patrol Procedure:
When you log on and start your rp as law enforcement you will check in with the shifts supervisor. The supervisor will tell you which area you will patrol. You will then select your loadout and check that everything is working properly. If anything is not right you will report it to your supervisor. You will then proceed to your designated patrol area. While on patrol you are required to perform a call log. A call log means you must be involved in at least five calls. You can either be primary or secondary. At the end of your shift you will go to the department you started at. You will contact the supervisor and inform him your going off duty. After that you can then leave (and delete) your vehicle and go out of uniform and stop rp.

New Officer Training:

Only members can become officers. Any member who wishes to become a law enforcement officer must put in a request with the senior Lieutenant of the department (with open slots). The Lieutenant will then contact you through the forums. The Lieutenant will inquire when you can be on for training. For new officers in training you will ride with a full-time officer who will train the new officer. This will continue until the Lieutenant considers the new officer ready to ride solo.

Supervisor Responsibilities:
There are administrative supervisors and field supervisors. The administrative supervisors are Sheriff/Captain and Lieutenants. Field Supervisors are Sergeants and Corporals (senior patrolman online at that time). The Sheriff and Captains job is to manage their department and point the department in the right direction. They will implement goals to be achieved by the department. They also can add to the department policies. The Lieutenants are to assist their Sheriff/Captain in the daily management of the department and manages the Sergeants and Corporals. They will take the Sheriffs/Captains goals and assign Sergeants to tasks to ensure the department goals are met. They can also assist in the field along with Sergeants and Corporals. Sergeants oversee organizing the patrolman and assisting in patrol. They ensure that the vehicle requirements are met, patrolman’s uniform is met, proper procedure is met. They are the first line supervisor who always interacts with the patrolman. Corporals are the active supervisor when no other supervisors are online and preform Sergeant duties until relieved by a Sergeant or Lieutenant.
